Zombie Apocalypse Master Plan

I don't know why people didn't choose this prompt besides me and Trev, but whatever, it's your funeral when them zombies attack. Anyway,

Step One: Gather Supplies as soon as the Threat is Known

The minute people start turning into walkers, I'm going grab my keys and floor it down the road to Wal-Mart, Lowe's, and Sportsman's Warehouse off Winchester Road. Excellent, excellent location to survive. Nearby an interstate for quick exit, and the convience of having a weapons store filled with guns, ammo, bows, and other awesome survival gear, and Wal-Mart, chock full of food and water, key things to survival in a zombie apocalypse. In addition, Lowe's is right next door as well, which has more manual ways of killing the zombies such as weedeaters, lawnmowers, axes, and other melee weapons. Plus, the construction materials could be used to barricade in the entire shopping center from the undead.

Step Two:  Recruit survivors

After closing myself in, periodically I will check outside for survivors, only during the day though as the walkers mainly come out at night. It would be simple, throw some survival supplies into the car, plus some firearms, then just loop around the city and look for any survivors that CAN be rescued. Bringing more people back to base is critical to keeping the bases' security intact.

Step Three: Enclose the Base Over Time:

Simple, day by day work on digging a ten foot deep trench all the way around the open areas around the shopping center to prevent ANY walkers from getting in. Much easier if you have some survivors to help you out.

Step Four:

Formulate an escape plan. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Know where to go if the base is compromised, and where the exits are BEFORE you are trapped. Overall, the best method of escape would probably be to hit I-75 and keep on driving.

Step Five:

KEEP GOOD RECORDS OF FOOD, WATER, MEDICAL, AND GASOLINE SUPPLIES. Self explanatory, need that stuff.

Step Six: Stay alive until the military pop the roof off the sucka'.

Nuff' said.
