Love and war

When I think of war, I generally think about the civil war or the middle east. I think that war, although extremely dreaded and dangerous, is sometimes necessary to defend your country's honor. On the other hand, it breaks my heart to hear about people who lose their lives in the war. I cant help but think: that person meant so much to someone. That person was a father or mother, sister or brother, son or daughter, and now they are gone because they were fighting for their country. My cousin is in the army and he just got engaged. Last week he got deployed and is leaving soon. I'm going to miss him so much but i cant even imagine what his fiance is feeling. I think it is morally right to defend your country. Some wars are unnecessary in my opinion, if it can be settled by the leaders speaking or a treaty than a war is completely uncalled for. These ways may be less effective. If another country is threatening the safety of our country, I defiantly think it is appropriate to go to war. America is a great country and i applaud those brave enough to fight for and defend us and our country. MERICA' back to back world war champs
