Technology has affected me personally in a majorly positive way as well as society in a majorly positive way. When I was born cell phones and the internet had not yet become popular; now a decade and a half later they are what our society runs on. Without these technologies our society today would be completely different. We would not be able to have the answer to everything right at our fingertips or be able to so effortlessly communicate with other people. For example, there have been times where I have forgotten to write down a school assignment and I get home and don’t know what the homework is. Thankfully I can just get on the internet and look the assignment up on the teacher’s website (if they update their website; if they don’t I just quickly text a friend). Smart phones also have benefitted my life. Five years ago when my family went on road trips I would sit in the back seat with the humongous Rand McNally Atlas trying to figure out if we were on the right interstate and what was the best way to go next. Now I just whip out my phone and look it up on the Map app. Technology has made everything so much easier and efficient.
