Playlist post

I listen to my ipod almost every day because I think it’s a good way to pass the time and music is just relaxing no matter what you listen to. It also has purposes in my life, such as when I have a baseball game or when Im training or jogging, some pump-up music is always exciting and gets me motivated. Relaxing songs help me after a long day to wind down and fall asleep, so there’s a time and a place for those songs. And when Im not doing anything in the down time between homework and more homework, Ill listen to pretty much anything entertaining. My playlist is sort of a combination of all these different purposes of music so there’s kind of a wide range of genres. 1. Freaks and Geeks- Childish Gambino. Starting with the pump-up music I picked this rap song because its really exciting and gets you ready to do whatever youre going to do. I mostly listen to rap, its about 70% of the stuff on my ipod, and this song is the most well known of this artist and the most popular so I picked it. 2. Go get it- T.I. This is another pump up song but Ill listen to this and any other rap in my down time. I picked this song because Ive been listening to a lot of TI lately because he gives a good beat and is lyrically impressive. 3. Eighteen Cool- Hoodie Allen. This song is also rap but its not nearly as “hip-hop” as the previous two. This is more of the feel good kind of rap and is more about partying and less about hustling, cars, and expletives. 4. Carolina on my mind- james taylor. This is one of my favorite cool down songs. I love james taylor because his songs are so relaxing and easy to listen to. I went and saw him in concert as well and I really enjoy his work. 5. Crazy Love- Michael Buble. I do enjoy Michael Buble even though most of my friends make fun of me for it. His songs are just fun to sing and I know two of his songs on the piano so Im a pretty big fan. Not to mention he has the voice of an angel.
