"Everything looks perfect from far away"

My poor, poor iTouch. It has been dropped, lost, stolen, flung, and battered. Despite the fact that it may seem like I abuse the thing, I absolutely adore it. It's constantly with me from my morning jam sessions (when I can muster up the energy) from the time I need to wind down. It's been with me to the corners of the Earth and back. I can't thank Steve Jobs enough for developing and marketing this wonderful amazing fantastic piece of technology that my parents shelled out the money for after my last mp3 player got ran over (not my fault).

My night night playlist is usually what I play when I go to bed aside from my Deep Sleep Andrew Johnson app that knocks me out within 10 minutes. 5 songs that I like starting the playlist off with are:

"Bluebird" - Christina Perri
I love Christina Perri's voice, and that's really why this is on the playlist. The song itself isn't exactly relaxing with a crescendo in the middle and with its slightly depressing undertone, but the sound is very sweet and cute, if that makes any sense.

“Better Together” – Jack Johnson
The main rain reason this is on my night night playlist is because it’s cute and it never fails to put me in a good. Plus, I enjoy listening to Jack Johnson’s voice.

"Let That Be Enough" - Switchfoot
This song is very mellow and it instantly calms me down after a day of work. Jon Foreman's voice is deep enough so it’s relaxing to listen to him and the focus on the guitar playing simple notes and so much chords also adds to the mellow vibe of the song.

"Such Great Heights" - Iron and Wine
This version of "Such Great Heights" is the ultimate sleepy time song. It's completely different from the Postal Service's version, with a sole guitar playing and a crooning voice to relax you. I'm listening to it as I'm typing and I feel incredibly content with everything in life.

"Danny's Song" - Kenny Loggins
This ties with "Such Great Heights" for a really amazing night time song. It features a maraca, guitar, piano, and violin coming together with Kenny Loggins's wonderous voice to create a cute mix of a love song for a wife and a son. It makes my heart smile and sends to me sleep with happy thoughts.
