Good Vs. Evil

Do I believe in absolute good and evil? No. Maybe if we were born into a Utopian society or quarantined as children in a quaint room where nothing goes wrong. But are we? Of course not! When we're exposed to a society where crimes are committed, lies are told, and mistakes are made every second of the day, there's no way someone could remain pure and innocent, and of course, absolutely good. But at the same time, it goes the same way. There are situations where wallets are found and the money isn't pocketed, instead, it's returned to the owner. There are times where people risk their lives for complete strangers. We all have morals and feelings, and they do kick in at unexpected times. All in all, our society shapes what is good and evil. However, it will never be clear cut like it is in the movies. The new spider man movie featuring Andrew Garfield displays my point clearly. The scientist starts off as a well-intentioned man who is truly trying to save lives through his extensive research. However, he is overcome by the urge to cure his arm, and by doing so, he evolves into a giant lizard and wrecks an entire city. This is a perfect example of a good person doing some (actually alot) of bad. It shows that even the murderers in the jail cells experience remorse and the saints in the supposed heavens commit some wrong doings as well.
To sum it all up, good people will do bad things, and bad people will do good things. I don't believe that there is a person in the world who is completely one, and not a bit of the other.
