Light and Dark Can't Coexist
When you turn on the lights in a dark room something strange happens. The darkness flees. While the intensity and shading may vary one fact remains true. Light and dark don't coexist. I believe we live lives driven by choice. Every second is a choice and every fork in the road a question of light and dark. The forces of good and evil are at war and most of that battle occurs within us. The "gray" are that exists is a matter of perspective. All actions at their root are either light or darkness, good or evil. Hot water feels amazing for a shower and nothing is as refreshing as a cold glass of water on a hot day, but luke warm water won't refresh on a hot day and it won't feel quite right for a shower. It's one or the other. Hot or cold, light or dark, good or evil. It's absolute. Maybe not to an onlooker, but at the end of the day our bodies are just a war torn battlefield on which Good and Evil have faced off every second of everyday.
