iListen

How often do you use your ipod (or phone or whatnot)? What is your perfect playlist for ____ (fill in the blank - it could be your perfect playlist for a sunny day, for a road trip, for thanksgiving, etc.) Choose 5 songs, note the song and artist and why you chose this song.

I use my iPhone all of the time. I use it to complete my homework in the mornings at school and I use it as an escape from distracting noises when I am trying to accomplish a large amount of homework in a short amount of time. My iPhone is also my camera for every event! I love my iPhone!

My perfect playlist for a road trip consists of:

1. You and I by Ingrid Michaelson
2. Molly on the Shore by Percy Grainger (Marine band version)
3. First Breath After Coma by Explosions in the Sky
4. Meet Virginia by Train
5. BIg Yellow Taxi by Counting Crows

This mix of songs, I admit, is kind of sporadic.  You and I is my happy song for the car and is one that I just love because it is so good. Molly on the Shore is my classical song. Because I am a clarinetist, I love this song and I plan to be able to play it one day because it is so fun to learn and play! First  Breath After Coma is my sleeping song. This song means so much to me because we used it at a worship at church camp and this was one of the best worships ever. Meet Virginia, well is a great song! I promise I don't just like it because Virginia is my name, but that is part of it. Lastly Big Yellow Taxi is a song I  have always liked since a little kid. I could sing every word even when I hadn't heard it for months. Thanks to Andrew Polites, I finally was able to put a title to the song!
