right this very second

Alrighty, this is a game I play all the time, and especially with my family.

Right this very second, my future husband is out there walking the earth (hopefully- I mean, I wouldn't want to marry someone 17 years younger than me, right?). Isn't that the craziest thing to imagine? He may be in Europe or in California or or in Hawaii or in Philadelphia or in Charleston, SC, or he may even (Lord help him) be at Henry Clay (who knows????). But regardless of where he is, he's out there. I mean, maybe I've met him when I was little or maybe I won't meet him until I'm 25. He's probably in high school worrying about the same little things I am, like whether or not his English teacher probably thinks he's an idiot and how he's going to manage all of his homework tonight and wondering where he's going to college and how he still needs to get his ACT score up and how much he loves yogurt. And then again, maybe he's not. But right in this very second, he's out there.

Right this very second, there are two people having the happiest day of their lives. Their life together started today. Another couple out there is getting divorced and crying and wishing it was still the happiest day of their lives. There's someone being murdered right now and someone that's actually freezing to death, but there's also someone wishing that they just wanted fat-free, not low-fat, and someone complaining that they're too cold to get out of their luxurious bed into a warm, free school. It's all about perspective.

Right this very second, there's someone who's having the most fun day of their lives. Maybe they're paintballing or on a beach or just inside reading all day, but whatever they're doing, they're having SO MUCH FUN.

Right this very second, there's someone thinking about what someone else out there is doing and they're just as curious as me as to where everyone in the world is and there's someone out there who still doesn't know how to finish this blog (me).
