Materials needed:
An ice cube tray (found at any grocery store)
Water
A working freezer
Directions:
First, clear out a flat space in your freezer for the tray.
This will prevent your water from spilling and freezing onto other items in
your freezer.
Next, and fill each square of your ice cube tray with water.
Carefully bring your water filled ice cube tray to the freezer and place the tray on the flat space you created.
Once you have placed your tray in the freezer,
close the door.
After two hours in the freezer your ice cubes should be
frozen and ready to be popped out and served.
These steps can also be used to make ice pops for those hot
summer days by using your favorite juice or drink instead of water. After about
one hour in the freezer, remove the tray and put toothpicks in the semi-frozen
cubes in order to make serving these delicious treats easier. Then place the
tray back in the freezer for another hour in order for the cubes to fully
solidify. Remove the treats from the tray and serve.
