How to Throw a Proper Fit

Having just finished watching the season finale of Downton Abbey, this seemed the most logical choice for a how to blog.
Step One: Find a movie/tv show/book/etc. in which to become extremely emotionally invested. This will make you attached to the characters and storyline to the point where you feel as if you are a part of it.
Step Two: Make sure you are completely unprepared for what is about to happen in your show/book/etc. This is crucial for your fit-throwing experience because if you are blind-sided by whatever horrible thing takes place, then your fit will increase in magnitude immensely by making you that much angrier/miserable/whatever emotion you have just experienced.
Step Three: Experience your extremely unexpected event in your show/book/movie.
Step Four: become aware of your surroundings, making sure you have a relatively soft surface or maybe some pillows around you.
Step Five: Now feel free to fling yourself to the ground and roll around in agony and fury. You may also feel free to scream in rage at the television/book to vent your anger at the bloody writers of the show. I would also suggest throwing some things around the room, preferably the aforementioned pillows, as they tend to not cause too much damage. Also, kick your feet on the ground like a three-year-old. Maybe throw in a few tears.

And voila! There you have a proper fit.
