How to Listen to Music
I'm not talking about turn on the music or plugging in whatever object you are going to listen to it on or hitting play or anything like that. I'm talking about really listening to music. You should try it sometime. Any type of music can be "critically" listened to afterwards producing comments like she sucks or he isn't all that bad. But have you ever noticed that in most pop songs under the singer's voice, there is another lower voice? Have you ever noticed that they sound exactly the same just different octaves? I bet you haven't. Listen for it next time. Something else you should try out is that when you listen to a song, try and focus on just one instrument. If you are really good at this, you can switch from one instrument to another easily. This selective listening allows you to explore aspects of which you haven't ever heard before, noticed before, or paid attention to before. Another way to listen to music is with your eyes closed. It is scientifically proven that when one of the five senses is unable to be used, other senses are heightened. So, if you listen to music with your eyes closed for a bit, then the music will sound different adding a different perspective. To really listen to music you should try: listening for an undervoice for pop songs, listen for specific instruments, and close you eyes! There are many other methods for the How To Listen To Music so come up with some on your own and share them!
