Who is the Richard Patten

My seat buddy in our third hour class is none other than the energetic and wild Richard Moe Patten. Moe and I shared some past classes Freshman year I believe but none last year so this year was a nice reunion with this exciting character. One of the things that anyone who spends five minutes with Moe notices is his energy and passion. His excitement and good humor make for interesting conversation and he is always a pleasure for a seat partner. Outside of class I think I've only seen Moe once at the movies, but there was this one memory earlier this year that I particularly enjoyed with him. It was a football game and I was with the student section in the stands. It was halftime and everyone was still ready to cheer but had nothing to cheer for in all this downtime. Some conversation amongst my fellows ensued and then I spied Moe and the band ready to take the field and perform. So I turned to anyone who knew Moe and started a chant of his name: MOE MOE MOE MOE. Soon I think we got a good twenty people chanting his name enthusiastically and I saw Moe's surprised face as he looked up. This ins't by any means a truly emotional memory but its one that symbolizes the spirit of comradory that we share and that I would like to share with all my classmates trying to make it through this high school.
