Finding out that my seat in English would be in the direct center of the room with everyone else facing toward you was not an enjoyable experience. However, my table mates make it so much better, and I've become quite fond of our seating arrangements. I would be sad to see it go. It's a pleasure sitting with such people as Jared, Ginny, Joey, and Jessie. And now I've just realized that I'm the only one at our table that does not have a name that starts with a j sound. Oh well!
Jared: He can be forgiven for misspelling my last name in his previous blog. I met Jared in Freshman year when we were seat buddies in English (deja vu), but other than that I didn't really know him much then, despite the fact that I was friends with Jared's best friend. The past couple of years I've gotten to know him better, and I'm glad that I have! We both share interests in baseball and Star Wars. I know that he likes hunting and I believe that he does lots of volunteer work with his church (?). Also, he is a very good driver. He did not kill me or Annie the one time that he drove us somewhere. I think I'd say that Jared is a bright blue because he seems pretty calm most of the time, but he can be a little hyper other times as well, most notably when he started throwing cards around my family room at my birthday party this year.
Ginny: Ginny's the fellow Harry Potter nerd at the island in the middle of the room. I know I always have a conversation topic with her because we share that love. I also know that Ginny is a talented clarinet player in the band at Henry Clay and I believe that she enjoys it for the most part! I think that I would say that Ginny would be a bright yellow color because she always seems cheerful and energetic! Except for the time that she fell asleep during the practice ACT and I had to nudge her elbow to wake her up. I can see Ginny growing up to have a job that involves public relations since she is so adroit at conversing with everyone.
Joey: Well, I've known this kid the longest out of anybody at our table. We've known each other since elementary school, when we went to Cassidy together. I've always held a grudge against him for beating me in one of our "tests" in gym in fourth grade where we had to hold ourselves up on a chin-up bar for as long as we could. He only beat me by about two seconds, otherwise I would have won. One of my fondest memories of Joey was when I bossed him and a couple of my friends into being in the talent show at school in the fifth grade, in which we did a spectacular rendition of the dance "You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray. We were great buddies then! I'd like to think that we've stayed pretty close friends since then. I can always count on Joey to do some of the most insane things. For example: last year, on the very last day of school, and the very last class period, we had just finished our group English final, which Joey was in with me, Laura, and Brandon. To celebrate, Joey took out a bottle of "The world's hottest hot sauce" that he had been carrying around with him since Christmas, and took a couple big swigs of it, after telling Laura to film it. After about five minutes of making pained faces, he finally left to go get some water. However, we started noticing that he wasn't returning after about ten minutes. Mr.Behler went to go check on him. Meanwhile, the rest of the class was wondering what was happening, so we started showing everyone the video that Laura had taken on her phone. When Joey finally reentered the classroom, extremely pale, it was to a round of applause from the rest of the class. We all stopped clapping, though, when he basically fell on a table and said "I think I need to go home." Crazy kid. Thankfully, he survived the encounter. Based on that, I think I'd characterize Joey as being purple. It's a wacky color, he's a wacky kid!
Jessie: Jessie is the table member that I know the least, but I'm glad I've been given the opportunity to get to know her a little better! She is pretty calm most of the time, which is why I would say she is most like a dark blue/navy color. She just seems pretty chill most of the time. I wish I could say more about her but I haven't really had the opportunity to get to know her well enough yet.
