I happen to have the distinction of having known both of my seat neighbors since elementary school. To my right is Olivia Burchett, whom I have known since second grade, and on my left is Tristan Depew, whom I have known since first grade.
I'll start with Olivia. I guess the earliest memory I have of her is when I went to her second grade birthday party. She's still weirded out by the fact that I know the general vicinity of where she lives, even though "it was second grade!" as she would say. So Olivia and I have been friends for a long while. In seventh grade, my schedule change at the beginning of the year caused us to have all the same classes together. And since our last names are alphabetically similar, we sat next to each other a lot. That whole having-the-same-schedule thing happened again this year. Basically, I see her a lot during school. In general, Olivia's incredibly hilarious and always knows how to make me laugh. She doesn't always take the most initiative but she can be very hardworking when she feels like it. If she were a color, she would be orange because I'm about 98% sure that's her favorite color. In five years, I see her still swimming in some sort of way and studying radiology.
Tristan was one of my buddies at the after school program during elementary school. In a nutshell he is nice and funny, but just saying that sounds like I'm writing it in someone's yearbook who I didn't really know. But it's true, Tristan is hilarious. He is also very intelligent but he never flaunts it. He has amazing taste in music from what I can gather. I'm not sure if he still takes pictures, but he was/is an incredible photographer. If he were a color, he would be something like light blue because he's really chill but really rad at the same time. In five years, I see him at a great college studying something obscure (but not in a bad way.)
