Three Thought-Provoking Questions:

1. What is your favorite genre of music and what makes that genre appeal to you?

2. Will you ever have children? Why or why not?

3. What are some flaws in the American educational system? Explain.

I was very tempted to answer my first prompt, since I am such a metal-junkie, but I really thought the second question is one of, if not, the most thought provoking question for people our age and onward. The list of benefits and consequences are innumerable and take years to weigh on before being truly able to decide for yourself. And personally, I do NOT want children.

Now don't get my wrong, I don't think children are evil demons and that they only serve to create inconvenience for adults, but I would not be able to handle a child with my personality. As many other "Generation Z'ers" I am not a very patient person, demanding instant gratification due to the advancement in technology. I have countless moments of irration when my iPhone 4 won't connect to the Wi-Fi, or my Xbox logs me out of Netflix, or my cable goes out. Ultimately I don't have the patience for a child, nor the discipline. I am a free-spirited conservative to sum this up. I have my moral beliefs, but I do not believe that government, parents, any authority figure, should issue judgement based on morals alone, which my not apply to the offender. Thus, I fear that I may not lead my son or daugther on the correct path, of being tolerant and polite to other people, and obeying the golden rule. I can't decide what's more important, the golden rule, or allowing personal freedom. Not even sure if they are related but whatever.

Finally, having a lazy lifestyle at this point in my life, talking to my friends through a device connected throught the Internet from my couch, I for certain, would pawn off tasks for my spouse to take care of. Unfortunately, I think with a child, I would rely on my wife to deal with the son/daughter. This leads to a slippery-slope of negative consequences. First, she will become irritated at me, then finally become too upset and divorce me, take half of my possessions, bill me an alimony check, and possibly a child support check every month with only 50% of my former income, and maybe strip my right to see my child. THIS CANNOT HAPPEN.

So, me and my future wife, the second we become engaged to each other will have a long discussion to plan this out, and make sure we both agree to not have a child. I'm out
