1. What was everything before anything existed?
2. What if when we died, someone came and took us and told
us we had another life to live? Would we live it the same way we lived our
first? And what if we never actually died, we just kept living ‘extra’ lives?
3. What if everything you had EVER been told in life was a
complete lie?4. What if we don’t really exist and we’re just these thoughts and ideas in everyone’s heads?
Some of these things are concepts that I actually wonder, and I just wanted to put four. I’ll answer number 2.
It’s always been interesting to me the idea of dying and afterlife. As a Christian, I assume that I’ll go to Heaven and then things will be great (another hypothetical question: what if the religion I believe in doesn’t exist and when we die, we just simply aren’t?) and all. But what happens between being alive and being dead? You can’t feel being dead like you can feel being alive. We can’t imagine not existing before we were born because that’s impossible. But when we get to Heaven or wherever we go, will we be able to remember our life? But imagine this: we die, and someone comes to get us and tells us that everything we’ve ever been told about Heaven was a lie (merging question 3) and we just keep living these lives over and over? Do we go with other people that have already died? It could be this inverted world of people who have already lived and died and maybe remember their old life. And we just keep going through this process over and over until when? When does life, or the lack of, end?
Sorry I’m not sorry for answering a question with a
question. Sometimes I just think too much.
