1. If you had a billion dollars what would you do with it and why?
2. If you could change one thing about you what would it be?
3. What superpower would you give yourself and why?
Prompt #1-
A billion dollars is a lot of money. I know that I will never have or see a billion dollars in my life, but if by some miracle I did, I think I would go into three stages of wealth. Stage one would be the greedy rich: the first thing I would do is run and buy all of the things I've never had. A new Porsche, a big mansion, an iPad, basically anything I remembered that I had ever craved or wished for. The next stage I would enter would be the philanthropist stage. I would realize that, "I don't have enough money to spend by myself". And I would give money to my friends, family, maybe even a thousand to the homeless man down the street. Donating to charity would be included in this stage. Feeling guilty about blowing all of this money that most people don't have would naturally be a side effect, and giving to the starving children in Africa without shoes would be one way for me to ease my conscious. Finally, the last stage of my wealth would be the clarity stage, or the savers stage. I realize now, at this point that if I keep flaunting my money and spending it willy nilly I will eventually run out, and so essentially I need to save my money from myself. By putting over half of the billion in the bank I will still have enough money to lead a cushy lifestyle, but enough saved up to support a potential family or to use in case of an emergency.
