Fictional Character

If I could be any character from the fictional world, I would of course choose a character from one of my favorite shows Downton Abbey. Tom Branson is the former chauffeur, Irish revolutionary, and husband of Lady Sybil Crawley Branson. He is a very kind man who looks past class boundaries and respects people for who they are, not where they come from. He sometimes lapses in this belief because of his fervent Irish nationalism, but his wife always sees the best in him. I would like to be Branson because of his belief in the possibility of change and his actions in Ireland demonstrating his beliefs. He always fought for what he believed in whether it was his nationality or Catholic faith always questioning the judgmental ways of some of the Crawleys at Downton. Branson is man worthy of respect because he even tries to befriend the family even after they have treated him so poorly in the past because of his deep compassion for his wife. In my opinion, Branson is the most honorable man in Downton Abbey because of his constant faith in others even when they may not have the best intentions.
