Laura Doll

Hey everyone, I’m Laura. I’m usually known as the quiet kid in class who doesn’t like to talk, but my friends know better. I’m 16 and my school work is very important to me. I know that my hard work now will pay off later. But, on the other hand, my life isn’t all hard work. I love having fun with my friends.

My personal goal for this year is to figure out what I want to do with my life and where I want to go to college (which, currently, I have no clue). Academically, I’d really like to maintain my straight As and get high scores on my AP tests. The most meaningful thing that happened to me this summer was actually not a good thing; my 13 year old dog, Sunny, who has been my best friend forever, passed away. But, on the bright side, I had a decently fun summer and met some cool new friends. I also managed to watch all six seasons of “Lost” on Netflix within a couple weeks. If I could have any super power, I would want teleportation so I could go all over the world whenever I wanted.

Now, let’s get to what geeks me out.. I am MAJORLY ADDICTED to the British TV Show “Doctor Who”. I’m always listening to music and singing in my room, and I love being weird with my friends. It’s taken some time but I honestly love being weird; life’s more fun that way. I'm the type of person who frequently smiles and laughs more than the average person. My love for reading comes and goes.. I’ll frantically read several books and then not read again for a while. I’m also an Apple geek; I love my Apple products. Also, on a side note, I’m a chocolate milk-aholic. My favorite color is purple and my favorite animal is cow (I don’t really know why, it just is). And though I don’t advocate it and talk about it all the time, I’m a green freak at heart.

My favorite website is www.pinterest.com because it never fails to cure my boredom, and you can find lots of cool stuff on there.
