Blog #1: Introduction

So obviously I am Rebecca. To start out with the basics I am 15, born in 1997. And as of today I have 291 days until I am eligible for my permit, not that I am counting.... The majority of my time not in school is spent doing homework or participating in band. So I guess that means band is the thing that geeks me out. I am part of the Wind Ensemble, the Lab Band, the Steel Band, and Marching Band, and I play a different instrument for each one. If it also shows my geek-ness my favorite styles of music are Broadway and Classical!

Academically I would like to have 4s and 5s on all my AP tests. I would also like to have straight "A"s of course. My other goals for the year are to make All-State band, All-district band and I would like to get a distinguished at "Solo and Ensemble"

Another thing about me is that I LOVE to travel. To this dste I have been to Mexico, England, France, Leichtenstein, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, and South Africa. Every trip has been so amazing! This last summer I got to go on a European tour with musicians all across KY, that was pretty cool!

Lastly, my favorite website is youtube.com because it has such a variety of videos ranging from comical to intellectual to motivatonal. I also like Pandora for music.
