Hola. My name is Andrew Mason (but you knew that from the title) and I ALWAYS live life to the fullest! Okay that sounds super cliche so just scroll down so you don't have to read that sentence. Anyway, here's a little about me, my life, and my wonderful and sparkling personality! I'm 16 years old and have been rockin the diabetic swag since I was 9. I love my family more than anything because the are always there for me and because I am required to. This past summer I obtained my intermediate license to drive legally, which is pretty much the climax of being a teenager, at least so far. You'd think they'd come up with a better name, 'intermediate license' sounds so boring. I also bought a 1998 Toyota Avalon off of my neighbor, so now I'm broke and currently on the job hunt (call me back Target!). Driving is great, especially for the ladies. Now I can take them on dates! Plus when the date is over their boyfriends don't have to worry about them getting home safely.
Academically I'm trying to stay large and in charge this year. I maintain a 4.0 GPA, 5.0 if you want to get technical, and have always gotten straight A's (A+'s ..... jeez!). I hope to get good grades throughout high school so I can get in to a sweet college and possibly major in business. I don't know where I want to go to school, but its all about who SHOWS ME THE MONEY (name that movie) and coughs up a full-ride.
I geek out to comedy. No joke. Don't laugh at that. But seriously I love all kinds of comedy: stand-up, sketch, improv. I love seeing or listening to smart and well thought out jokes, none of that 'why did the chicken cross the road' crap. I enjoy watching SNL and reruns of Whose Line is it Anyway? as well as a few stand-up comedians. I also enjoy making jokes and giving people something to laugh at, which is why one of my favorite websites is twitter.com because it gives me an avenue to see and share funny stuff that pops into my head throughout the course of my existence. My sense of humor is subtle and sneaks up on you from behind, kind of like a bad case of diarrhea. I try (not always in success) to provide this humor to my everday life, and make people laugh with random stuff along with subtle mockery of the Henry Clay High School population. Trust me, its not that hard.
Here I am this past summer shaving at a nearby Holiday Inn. I was heading down to a Superman convention, as you can tell by my haircut. This picture pretty much describes me perfectly though, from the carefree smile to the fact that I was boss enough to be shaving as a TODDLER. Pretty sweet, huh? If you don't smile at this you have no heart. Anyway, thats me, straddling the line between inner and outer nutshell, so I hope you enjoyed it!
Andrew
