Blog #2

I use my iPhone literally all the time. I listen to music when I’m getting ready for school, on the way to school, on the way home, while I’m doing homework, and while I’m trying to fall asleep. When I’m bored and don’t know what to do, I mess around on my phone by playing games and checking my social networking. I love my iPhone so much I even named it (no, I will not tell you its name).

My perfect playlist for getting ready in the morning is my Coldplay playlist, which consists of pretty much every Coldplay song ever on shuffle. Even though I truly love each and every song, here are five that I might love a little more than the others (in no particular order):

1.) Lost? - Coldplay. I really love this song. For some reason the lyrics stick out to me; maybe because they contain a play on words. For my morning playlist, I prefer Lost? over Lost! because it's much more calm.

2.) 42 - Coldplay. I love this song for the morning because it's calm and soothing sounding (which you could say about most Coldplay songs, but I just like this one). The lyrics are interesting, and I like how it gets more upbeat at the end because it's like showing me I need to get up.

3.) The Scientist - Coldplay. Like the others, this song is calm and slow, but I like it because the lyrics are really meaningful and sad.

4.) Yes - Coldplay. This song is a strange one. It's different than most other Coldplay songs. It just has a different sound and vibe to it, and for some reason I really like that.

5.) Death and All His Friends - Coldplay. I like the message in the lyrics of this song. And, like 42, I like how it gets more upbeat towards the end.

Picking only five Coldplay songs to list for this was a really strenuous task.
