Advice

One piece of advice that stays with me is something my grandma always says: "Count your blessings." This really makes me stop and think of how forunate I am and how lots of people don't have the things I am fortunare enough to have. Thinking about this advice from my grandma really makes me appreciate my life and my family, friends, health, access
to food, etc. Not everyone is as fortunate as we are here, so we have no right no complain about our lives when they could be so much worse.

  1. Wow I did that during free time at school and it's definitely not as long as I thought it was, so here's more:

The first time my Grandma gave me this advice was on one Christmas when I was at her house and I was upset. She told me to count my blessings and then started naming off that I have both my parents, a sibling, we're all healthy, friends who love me, etc. Ever since this time when I was little I have always been able to look at the positives in my life when I'm upset than complain about the little things.
